How to print digital wall art that looks gallery-ready
A practical guide to choosing paper, checking proportions and getting the most from your printable artwork.
Start with the file
Read the size and format details on your purchased product page before ordering a print. Not every artwork ships in the same dimensions or file types. Unzip an archive before sending a file to a printer, and choose the largest suitable version for your intended frame.
Keep the aspect ratio intact. Cropping a square picture into a tall frame will remove parts of the image; stretching it will distort the artwork. When in doubt, ask your print shop to show a crop preview before printing.
Choose your paper and finish
Matte paper offers a quiet finish that suits line drawings, botanicals and boho wall art. A satin finish can bring out luminous color in futuristic or celestial prints. Ask the printer for a small proof if color accuracy matters to your space.
Home printers vary in ink and color handling. For a larger statement print, a local professional printer can help you select stock and confirm the intended dimensions. Print sizes and color results depend on the original file and your printer settings.
Frame with breathing room
Try a mount or mat when you want the art to feel more spacious. Measure the frame opening rather than only its outside edge. Keep downloaded files backed up: private download access is available for 30 days after a paid order, with up to 10 downloads per file.
